To mark the occasion of World Heritage Day, students of Classes V and VI enthusiastically participated in a vibrant and joyful event titled ‘Echoes of Play’, held on 19th and 21st April, for classes VI and V respectively. The event aimed to revive and celebrate traditional Indian games, connecting students with the joyful spirit of our cultural heritage. The school playground was transformed into a lively arena where laughter, energy, and sportsmanship filled the air.
The school playground came alive with energy as students engaged in games such as Saakdi, Langdi, Dog and the Bone, Rolling the Tyre Race, Marble and Spoon Race, Sack Race, Dodge Ball, and more. Each activity promoted teamwork, agility, and sportsmanship while providing a refreshing break from routine academics. Teachers and staff supported the event wholeheartedly, motivating students and ensuring enthusiastic participation.
The event served as a meaningful reminder that heritage is not only preserved in monuments and rituals, but also in the simple, playful traditions passed down through generations. The event concluded with laughter, tired but happy faces, and memories that will be cherished for long.
