It is rightly said that trees are the ornaments of the earth, so to elaborate on this beautiful quote, DPS Surat held an assembly for Classes I and II on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025.
The assembly started with prize distribution for English speaking and best class awards given by the principal, Mr. P. Vamshi Krishna. The principal briefly emphasized the importance of keeping our ‘Mother Earth’ clean. This vibrant start of the assembly was continued by the students of classes II A and II B as they performed delightfully to convey a message that trees are vital for the well-being of life on Earth. They danced exuberantly to express concern over polluted rivers and to highlight the three R’s (reduce, recycle, reuse). The mantra of the assembly was ‘Clean Earth, Green Earth.’ The charming presentation and execution of the assembly created a strong urge in every student to plant more trees and do their bit towards saving our planet, Earth.
